Athens –The Graveside Service for Eddie Wayne Richards of Athens is scheduled for Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Pattison Cemetery in Emhouse, TX with Bro Mike Curry officiating.

Mr. Richards passed away on Thursday, February 25, 2016 in Athens, TX.

Eddie Wayne Richards, 55, was born on June 8, 1960 in Dallas to Reuben Edward Richards and Virginia Ann Biggers Richards. He enjoyed music, and fishing, and loved to help people. Eddie gave his heart to Jesus when he was 7 years old. He was a loving son and brother who will be missed by all he knew and loved.

He is survived by his parents Reuben and Virginia Richards of Athens, brother Fred Richards of Austin, sister Donna House and husband Shawn of Austin, and one daughter.

Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 P.M., Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at Hannigan Smith Funeral Home.
