Athens –Graveside services for Wallace L. Stockton Sr., 93, of Athens, Texas are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Thursday, March 19, 2015 at Restland Memorial Park in Dallas with Bro. Frank Upchurch officiating.

Mr. Stockton passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2015 in Athens.

Wallace Lloyd Stockton Sr. was born September 1, 1921 in Miller County, Arkansas the son of William Thomas Stockton and Lilly B. Cook Stockton. He was an Army Veteran of WW 2 and was honorably discharged from duty in 1943. He then began his career in the construction business building homes. Wallace was a proud Mason and Shriner who enjoyed his membership in the Motor Patrol. He was a loving father and grandfather and will be missed by all he knew.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 42 years Isabelle Stockton and Doris Stockton.

He is survived by his two sons, Wallace Stockton Jr. and wife Yolanda of Allen, Larry Stockton and wife Connie of Athens; two grandchildren, Wallace Stockton III, Lori Stockton; one great grandchild Amanda Stockton and two great-great grandchildren, Odessey and Jullian Stockton.

A visitation will be held at the Cross Roads Baptist Church from 9-11:00 A.M. on Thursday, March 19, 2015.

Pallbearers will be Steve Latzel, Chris Cobb, Andy Rosson, Robert Brauer, Scott Haan and Wallace Stockton III.
