Athens – A Celebration of the life of Keith Wood, 55, of Trinidad, Texas are scheduled for 4:00 P.M. Thursday, May 28, 2015 at the Hannigan Smith Funeral Home.

Mr. Wood passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2015 in Trinidad, Texas.

He was born July 6, 1959 in Montgomery, Alabama the son of Chester Wilson Wood and Doris Marvalene Allen Wood. He was a Baptist and a hard working family man who loved spending time with his grandchildren. He worked for Texas Power and Light in distribution and for ONCORE as a lineman for 35 years. Keith was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing, hunting and was a rancher and cattleman for many years. Papa was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother and will be missed by all he knew.

He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years Connie Wood of Trinidad; his mother Marvie James of Fairfield; three children, Joshua Wood and wife Kristin of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Jason Wood and wife Jessica of Athens, Lori Wenger and husband Ron of Odessa;brother Chester Wilson Wood Jr. of Beeville and three grandchildren, Sierra, Christopher and Dahlia.

Arrangements were entrusted to the Hannigan Smith Funeral Home of Athens.
