Rusty was a bigger then life character. He was John Wayne and Superman. His confidence and kindness were inspiring.
I am proud that I had the good fortune to know him and I thank him for convincing me to join him in the Corps of Cadets at Texas A&M and giving me the courage to "hang in there" when things got tough. I have had few people that I have looked up to more in my life then Rusty. Thank you for being a part of my life. You will be missed.
